Orion Solutions Group is working with our client, a leading national provider of domestic and international drayage services, in search of a Director of Sales & Business Development. This role empowers you to shape the future of intermodal logistics by expanding critical port and rail drayage networks across the Southeast. Your impact will directly influence how freight moves through some of the nation’s most vital supply chain corridors. Responsibilities: Develop strategic sales plans to grow intermodal drayage business across major U.S. markets Identify and pursue high-value prospects including BCOs, NVOCCs, IMCs, freight forwarders, and 3PLsBuild and maintain strong customer relationships to deliver tailored drayage solutions Lead sales presentations, negotiations, and contract execution Partner with internal operations teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences Maintain accurate CRM records and deliver sales forecasts to senior leadership
Qualifications: Established book of business within intermodal drayage Deep knowledge of port/rail operations, chassis pools, and 3PL solutioning Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field (preferred)Proven success selling import/export drayage services Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
