About the role
Mancan Staffing has partnered with a prestigious construction company in the Cambridge area, and we're looking for a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team! This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in construction and carpentry to contribute to impactful, hands-on projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in remodeling, installation, drywall finishing, painting, and masonry. If you're detail-oriented, comfortable reading schematics, and enjoy working in a fast-paced construction environment, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform carpentry tasks including framing, door hanging, painting, drywall finishing, and flooring installation Assist with masonry work to ensure structural quality and project standards Execute remodeling projects based on schematics and blueprints Install various fixtures and fittings according to job specifications Lay tile with precision and attention to detail Operate CNC machinery for custom woodwork (as needed)Maintain a clean and safe job site Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a carpenter or construction laborer Skilled in a wide range of carpentry tools and techniques Familiarity with masonry work preferred Remodeling experience highly desirable Ability to accurately read blueprints and schematics High attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Physically able to perform labor-intensive tasks for extended periods Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Valid driver's license required
Pay
Schedule:
