About the role
- Provides excellent customer service to the service department, customers at the counter or on the phone
- Meets or exceeds monthly sales goals driving sales through Aftermarket promotions
- Responsibility for Inventory Integrity
- Educates and engages customers through product demonstrations and promotions
- Effectively uses computer applications including: Sales Manual, JD Parts, Parts Expert, JD Point, Parts
- Advisor, barcode system and Dealer Business System
- Communicates, executes, and monitors Parts Department standard processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction
- Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer service
- Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly
- Assists in maintaining all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order
- Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program at all times
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:1+ years of Parts experience or equivalent sales or service experience
- Experience connecting with customers, maintains professional image, establishes rapport
- Demonstrates basic understanding of the selling processes
- Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence
- Experience using standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
- Experience working both independently and in a team setting
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs and routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs
