About the role

Bookkeeper The Bookkeeper will be responsible for overseeing the company's day to day bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping activities. This role requires someone who can maintain accurate financial records, manage reconciliations, and support the overall accounting function in a fast paced business environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, energetic, and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Key Responsibilities: Maintain accurate bookkeeping and financial records Perform bank and account reconciliations Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions Assist with financial reporting and record maintenance Ensure accuracy of accounting data and documentation Support day to day accounting and administrative functions Qualifications: Prior bookkeeping experience required Strong understanding of accounting principles Experience with reconciliations and financial reporting Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication and follow through abilities Energetic, dependable, and proactive Location: Brooklyn, NY Type: Full time (Part time candidates will also be considered)
Salary: $85,000$100,000/year (Part time compensation adjusted accordingly)
