About the role

We’re looking for an organized, detail-oriented professional to join our team in Brooklyn, NY (Ocean Parkway area). This is a hybrid/in-office role requiring 3–4 days per week in the office. The ideal candidate has experience in the financial services and/or insurance industry and is comfortable managing new business processing, client service, administrative responsibilities, and compliance-related documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and process new business applications and supporting documentation, ensuring submissions are complete and in good order
  • Track new business cases from submission through completion and proactively resolve outstanding requirements
  • Work directly with advisors and internal departments to address pending cases and application issues
  • Ensure new business documentation and correspondence adhere to applicable regulatory and internal compliance requirements
  • Prepare and analyze insurance needs and solutions for high-net-worth clients
  • Prepare sales illustrations and assist with the ongoing servicing of existing client accounts
  • Provide responsive client service and identify potential opportunities for additional support
  • Manage presales materials and documentation in accordance with compliance requirements
  • Prepare new business management reports and identify trends, outstanding items, and potential issues
  • Draft correspondence, presentations, reports, and internal communications
  • Provide general administrative support, including calendar management, phones, mail, filing, expense reports, and office supplies
  • Coordinate projects and materials using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Assist with basic hardware and software troubleshooting as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Prior experience in financial services, life insurance, or a related industry preferred
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat and internet research
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks/Quicken and Adobe Photoshop is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively with advisors, clients, and internal teams
Location: Brooklyn, NY – Ocean Parkway area
Schedule: In office 3–4 days per week
