Reporting to the Director of Sales of Drug, the Sr. Account Executive will plan, develop, and implement business-creating initiatives by working with cross functional areas of the company and with Walgreens to achieve company financial objectives and priorities that are aligned with customer objectives. The Sr. Account Executive will establish mutually agreed upon financial growth goals and objectives that will deliver profitable and sustainable growth for the company.

Ways you will make a difference Leads all Everyday aspects of the local Sales effort for Walgreens. Responsible for retaining a long-term direct customer relationship with Walgreens. Establishes collaborative relationships, both internally and externally, to deliver results against objectives. Determines best go to market strategy, working with leadership and cross-functional teams. Responsible for Everyday Annual business planning execution for the respective lines of business. Develops, maintains and adheres to operating budgets and trade spending plans. Responsible for monthly sales forecasting in conjunction with Sales Planning, Demand Planning and Supply Planning Teams. Maintains oversight to the customer supply chain to ensure the highest level of customer service. Develops and implements a successful vision and strategy. Leads the development and implementation of category driving initiatives. Participates in department and interdepartmental planning and management teams and works cross-functionally to improve processes within the organization. Develops, maintains and adheres to operating budgets and trade spending plans. Develops and presents customer programs to multiple levels of management. Demonstrates the ability to create, define and present contingency plans to maximize growth in both revenue and margin. Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures. Understands and demonstrates the Company’s core values and operating principles. Performs other duties as assigned. Skills that will make you successful Ability to effectively penetrate appropriate levels of management within Walgreens to strategically build alliances and maintain customer relationships that will serve as the foundation for long‑term success. Self-starter who is proactive and identifies critical business threats and opportunities. Strong initiative, forward thinking, and creative problem solving skills with the ability to create or stimulate customer‑focused strategies. Ability to apply a high level of analytical rigor. Sound judgment, drive and influence to aggressively pursue initiatives with appropriate team building techniques. Ability to develop and deliver first class fact‑based presentations internally and externally. Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally with key stakeholders. Experiences that will support your success Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience within the confection industry. Minimum of 3 years of account responsibility. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite. Ability to travel as required to achieve results. Consumables experience is preferred but not required. Confections experience a plus.
