Summary:
These positions are located in Seasonal Staffing Office-Intermountain Region, in the Division or Interpretation and Education. Temporary positions not-to-exceed 1039 regular hours in a service year may be terminated sooner or extended depending on management needs. The typical seasonal entry-on-duty period for Seasonal Staffing Office-Intermountain Region is March- July 2027 but can be variable during these months due to weather conditions, project needs, or funding.
Major Duties Design and create trailhead panels that contain maps, graphs based on GIS data, text, and photos. Cartographic skills in Adobe Illustrator and page layout skills in Adobe InDesign will be required. Update sections of Glacier National Park's website. Skill in using the NPS Content Management System will be needed. Design and create wayside exhibits using the Adobe Creative Suite of products. Assist with the production of park publications. This will require skill in page layout using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop. Housing Information: Government housing may be available. Housing is generally shared, either in single dwellings or dormitory style. Deductions for government quarters are made from the employee's paycheck. Seasonal employees occupying government housing are not permitted to have pets.
