Job Description: Job DescriptionJob Summary A stable and growing commercial real estate company in Charleston, SC is seeking a Development Specialist to support commercial development projects from acquisition through final delivery. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented real estate professional who enjoys site analysis, due diligence, transaction coordination, stakeholder communication, and hands-on project execution. The Development Specialist will work closely with leadership, brokers, consultants, municipalities, contractors, property owners, and internal teams to keep commercial development initiatives organized and moving forward. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate multiple commercial development projects, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, priorities, and follow-up items. - Research and evaluate development opportunities, site information, market data, and project feasibility. - Support commercial real estate transactions, due diligence activities, documentation, and project readiness. - Review site plans, surveys, development documents, and construction drawings for accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project goals. - Build and maintain strong working relationships with brokers, property owners, consultants, municipalities, contractors, and internal stakeholders. - Prepare reports, analyses, presentations, and project updates to support planning, communication, and leadership decision-making.
Compensation and Benefits: Salary range: $75,000 to $90,000 per year. - Direct hire opportunity.
