About the role

We are seeking an experienced OSS Project Manager to lead the end-to-end migration of our Operations Support Systems (OSS) service management layer from legacy BMC Remedy to the cloud-native BMC Helix platform. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams spanning Network Operations, IT Infrastructure, and external vendors.Your primary focus will be delivering a modern, containerised Service Management environment without disrupting critical network and telecom operations. Project Planning & Governance Define Migration Scope : Build comprehensive project plans, implementation documents, and data migration roadmaps mapped to the BMC Helix Migration Workflow. Manage Risk (RAID) : Establish and maintain a continuous Risk, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies (RAID) log tailored to complex OSS telecom environments.Track Financials : Monitor project budget, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure delivery matches initial business parameters. Execution & Technical Alignment Data Migration Delivery : Oversee the discovery, data mapping, and transformation of legacy ARS systems using BMC Helix Data Manager (HDM) . Reconciliation Oversight : Coordinate 3‐way reconciliation of existing workflows, CMDB configurations, and foundational data structures.Environment Governance : Monitor deployment across development, QA, pre‐production, and live environments, including containerised Kubernetes/Helm configurations.RequiredExperienceProject Management : Minimum 5+ years of Project Management experience delivering IT, SaaS, or telecommunications infrastructure projects. BMC Ecosystem : Direct experience managing upgrades, configurations, or cloud transitions involving BMC Remedy ITSM or BMC Helix . Telecom/OSS Background : Proven understanding of OSS architecture, telecom network operations, and how Service Management platforms support live infrastructure.
