About the role

Position Summary: We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Product Line Manager to oversee and optimize product line performance within the commercial aviation aftermarket. This individual will be responsible for managing inventory strategy, pricing, asset valuation, repair activity, and investment decisions while supporting revenue growth and profitability objectives. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience with commercial aviation aftermarket parts, particularly USM (Used Serviceable Material) and airframe materials, and possess a strong understanding of the economic drivers that impact a product line's performance.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the overall performance and profitability of assigned product lines within the commercial aviation aftermarket. Develop and execute pricing strategies based on market conditions, inventory levels, demand trends, and competitive analysis. Analyze inventory position, usage patterns, demand forecasts, and inventory turns to drive optimal stocking and investment decisions. Evaluate aircraft, component, and package acquisition opportunities and provide recommendations on capital deployment. Conduct asset, package, and component valuations to support purchasing, sales, and investment strategies. Collaborate with technical, repair, sales, and purchasing teams to maximize product line performance and customer satisfaction. Oversee repair and teardown/disassembly activities to maximize asset recovery and profitability. Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitive intelligence within the commercial aircraft parts aftermarket. Support acquisition and sales efforts through product line expertise, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations. Develop reporting and analytical tools to measure performance, identify opportunities, and support decision-making. Utilize data and analytics to drive sound business decisions regarding inventory management, pricing, repairs, and investments.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, Finance, or a related field preferred. Significant experience within the commercial aviation aftermarket industry. Strong background in USM (Used Serviceable Material) and airframe materials. Proven experience in product line management, inventory management, or commercial aviation merchandising. Strong understanding of pricing strategy, inventory optimization, demand planning, and asset valuation. Experience supporting or managing aircraft teardown, disassembly, and repair programs. Knowledge of aircraft component acquisition and capital investment processes. Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills. Strong financial and analytical aptitude with the ability to evaluate business opportunities and investment decisions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across Sales, Purchasing, Technical Operations, and Repair organizations.
Preferred Experience: Commercial aircraft parts aftermarket operations. Airframe and component material management. Aircraft, engine, or component package valuations. Repair management and vendor oversight. Product line ownership with P&L responsibility. Strategic inventory planning and capital deployment.
