About the role
We're partnering with a well-established, financially strong distributor investing heavily in HDPE distribution growth in Connecticut. We're seeking a highly motivated professional to build and scale operations. This isn't a traditional sales role, we're looking for someone who thinks like an owner, enjoys building from the ground up, and have the confidence to create their own success.
What we're looking for:
Strong hunter mentality with entrepreneurial mindset - someone who creates opportunity, not just responds to it. Existing relationships with municipalities, utility contractors, civil contractors, engineers or infrastructure stakeholders. Proven hunter ability to develop new business and grow market share in a competitive landscape. Industry experience within HDPE, Waterworks, Utilities, Underground infrastructure, Civil construction, PVF or related markets. What makes this different: Multiple income streams - base salary, bonus/uncapped commission, profit sharing and dividend participation. Significant autonomy - real influence over direction, strategy, and growth of the territory/business unit. Build & lead business unit - with inbound business and established operational support already in place.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
