About the role
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a Federal Criminal Background check
- Experience working within schools is preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
- Job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating standard office equipment, including PC computers, printers, copiers, scanners, multi-line phone systems, and fax machines
- Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Docs, and able to quickly learn additional software programs necessary for the position for workload efficiency
- Strong customer service orientation when assisting students, families, staff, and community membersAbility to accurately enter, retrieve, and maintain data in electronic systems
- Demonstrated strong communication skills, including clear and professional written communication with correct grammar, punctuation, and formatting, as well as confident and articulate verbal communication
- Demonstrated proficiency in basic math including performing operations involving monetary units

- General clerical support

- Follows and actively supports District and building initiatives
