About the role
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Health Sciences, or other related field preferred.
- Customer service or patient-facing experience preferred.
- Knowledge and ability to demonstrate body mechanics, functional movement, and exercises.
- Knowledge and adherence to HIPAA laws and compliance regulations.
- Physical Demand/Work Conditions:
- Standing, walking, bending, reaching, squatting, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.
- Lifting up to 35 lbs.
- Demonstrate exercises including but not limited to jumping, balancing on one leg, rotation of the shoulder in multiple planes, and using exercise bands.
- Ability to properly transfer patients with use of good body mechanics while maintaining patient safety.
- Required to work at an IRG facility and be responsible for your own transportation to and from work site.
- Potential exposure to virus, disease, and infections from patients in the working environment.
- Ability to perform custodial duties using medical grade cleaning products - including but not limited to cleaning bathrooms, laundry, and disinfection of exercise equipment.
- Work for extended periods of time at a video display terminal and will be required to use a keyboard to enter and gather information.
