Lab Courier Lab Services & Logistics at Rochester General Hospital Hours Per Week: Varys
Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday 7:30am - 11:30am | Must have availability to train and cover other routes as needed Laboratory and pathology services are vital to the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease. With convenient patient laboratory service centers, home lab services, expert pathologists and in-hospital diagnostics, we offer the full range of testing services to the communities we serve.
Summary: As a Courier, you are a professional who delivers and maintains specimen integrity and solves client issues so that our caregivers can provide accurate analysis and quality care to our patients. Attributes Five (five) years of driving experience, with a valid driver's license required Friendly, kind and customer service oriented Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently and make decisions
Responsibilities: Daily Assignments. Execute each courier route with efficiency, ensure the integrity of each delivery; access, navigate and send correspondence using designated computer Customer Service. Perform duties in a professional and courteous manner, promote superior customer service and customer relations; use sound judgment to problem solve if client issues arise; understand and respect patient confidentiality Documentation. Report equipment condition and notify coordinator of maintenance requirementsEDUCATION:NYS DL - valid New York State Driver's License - New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (NYSDMV)
