Job Description: As a leading developer and innovator of advanced wireless technologies, products and services, Qualcomm ideas and inventions have driven the evolution of digital communications. Qualcomm Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, has the following position available in Bridgewater, NJ:This individual independently plans, performs the moderately-defined responsibility for the designing, standardizing, implementing, verifying, validating, and commercializing of Wireless WAN (or cellular) air interface and modem technologies, as a prototype, specification, product, or component within a product. Has expertise in the WWAN specifications and can design, optimize, and implement software for advanced wireless systems and modems. Works closely with the other functional groups to develop a cost effective, high quality and high capability air interface and modem that meets industry and customer requirements with high performance (e.g., capacity, coverage, throughput, latency, power consumption) and acceptable cost (e.g., silicon area, calibration complexity, code size). Acts as a strong contributor at design reviews and project meetings.
