About the Role: We are seeking a versatile, part-time Newsletter Growth & Marketing Specialist to oversee and scale our portfolio of regional digital publications. Our readership consists of key decision-makers, civic leaders, and industry professionals. In this role, you will guide a targeted content distribution strategy, methodically expanding our reach from an initial pilot audience to our broader, established database.
What You’ll Do: Manage Deployments: Oversee the consistent distribution of targeted, regional newsletters to our professional network utilizing enterprise email platforms. Optimize Automated Workflows: Monitor and maintain our content curation pipeline—powered by industry-leading AI and automation tools—which efficiently sources top regional insights. Scale the Audience: Design and execute a strategic audience growth plan, thoughtfully ramping up distribution volume to successfully onboard our full contact database. Quality Control: Review curated articles prior to deployment to ensure all content maintains a high standard of relevance and resonates with our sophisticated audience. Performance Tracking: Analyze core metrics such as deliverability, open rates, and engagement trends to ensure optimal domain health and continuous audience retention.
What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in email marketing and database management, particularly for B2B or executive-level audiences. Hands-on experience with Send Grid, including a strong understanding of deliverability best practices during a list ramp-up phase. Familiarity with automation and RSS tools (specifically Make and Inoreader, or strong equivalents like Zapier).A strategic, autonomous worker capable of flawlessly managing a high-leverage project in just a couple of hours per week. An interest in regional development, commercial real estate, or civic leadership is a strong plus.
