We are seeking a strong Java Developer immediately in a remote role in Seattle, Washington. This role supports the CCS modernization effort by upgrading existing Java components from Java 8 to Java 11+, refactoring affected code, and ensuring smooth integration with upgraded Documentum and WebMethods components. Upgrade CCS Java services from Java 8 to Java 11+ Refactor code impacted by deprecated/removed APIs, library updates, and new Java features Redesign and validate Java integrations with the new Documentum environment Codebase analysis Review and validate AI‑generated refactorings and recommendations Participate in code reviews, CI/CD improvements, and automated testing 5+ years Java development experience (Java 8 and newer) ~ Familiarity with JMS, SOAP/REST integrations, or middleware systems ~ Experience reviewing and validating AI‑generated development outputs ~ Exposure to /container platforms (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker) HCLTech is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law.
