Operations Specialist Wurth Wood Group, a leading supplier of Hardwood Lumber, Plywood, Molding, Cabinet Hardware/Supplies and Laminate, and Building Supplies, is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist for the Roanoke, VA branch. The ideal candidate has managerial experience and is hard-working, organized, self-directed and customer service oriented. Solid benefits and strong earning potential. We are seeking an eager-to-learn Operations Specialist for our Roanoke location. This is a manual labor position within our warehouse. As there is growth potential in this position, the ideal candidate will have polished customer service skills and high attention to detail. The nature of this industry will require reliability and organizational skills. This is a full-time hourly position with biweekly pay.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Correctly store products in appropriate bin locations
  • Accurately pull product according to customer order
  • Use proper procedures for loading and unloading trucks
  • Perform any other requirements to effectively fulfill functions of the warehouse
  • Qualifications, Skills & Abilities:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50LBSDemonstrated ability to work in a team
  • Must be able to work overtime and variable shift/ hours
  • Demonstrated ability with Warehouse Management Software
  • Proven ability to manage detail on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to interface with customers and employees fostering excellent communication skills and customer service
  • Follow all items as laid out in Operations Manual and job description
  • Able to be forklift certified
