About the role
The Endoscope Repair Technician is responsible for performing bench-level repair, maintenance, and testing of flexible endoscopes to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. This individual works closely with technical, operations, and support teams to complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high level of workmanship. This role does not require travel. Relocation assistance is available.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform inspection, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on flexible endoscopes. Disassemble, repair, reassemble, and function test endoscopes using established procedures and quality standards. Prioritize and complete repair work in a timely manner to support operational objectives. Diagnose equipment issues and determine appropriate repair solutions. Collaborate with fellow technicians and cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and improve repair processes. Maintain accurate repair documentation, including findings, parts replaced, and testing results. Identify damaged or defective components, report quality concerns, and escalate issues when necessary. Follow all applicable quality, safety, and regulatory requirements, as well as internal procedures. Assist with inventory and material management related to repair activities. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience repairing flexible endoscopes but role is open to master technicians, as well. Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to stay organized and manage multiple repair priorities in a fast-paced environment.
