About Your Opportunity This Bank Market President is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the overall profitability, growth, and strategic direction of a specific geographic territory. They manage commercial/retail banking teams, build key community relationships, and ensure high-quality loan portfolios.
About the Role
Core Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develops and executes market business plans to increase market share and achieve profitability goals. Business Development: Proactively identifies and acquires new commercial lending and deposit relationships. Team Management: Hires, trains, coaches, and mentors staff to meet performance, service, and credit quality standards. Community Relations: Represents the bank in civic, government, and professional organizations to promote the brand. Risk & Compliance: Ensures the market adheres to banking regulations, policies, and internal credit standards. Portfolio Management: Oversees commercial loan portfolios, focusing on asset quality, risk rating, and monitoring delinquency.
Qualifications: Typically 10+ years of banking or commercial lending experience.3-5+ years of demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field.
Required Skills: Strong knowledge of credit, risk management, and local market trends. Pay range and compensation package$250K plus bonus!
