Senior Software Asset Management Consultant (SAM) This range is provided by KTek Resourcing. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Base Pay Range $46.00/hr - $55.00/hr Employment Details Type: Contract Rate: $55 per hour on C2C or $46 per hour on W2 Client: HCL Tech Key Responsibilities Perform day‐to‐day operations of Software Asset Management using ServiceNow SAM Pro/Flexera/Snow License Manager . Monitor and manage software discovery, normalization, and reconciliation processes. Maintain and update software license data, entitlements, and contracts in ServiceNow. Analyze software usage data to identify optimization opportunities and reduce costs. Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with procurement, IT, and business units to manage software lifecycle. Generate and distribute reports on software inventory, usage, and compliance. Support audits by providing accurate and timely software asset data. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software asset data and ServiceNow SAM Pro functionality. Assist in the configuration and enhancement of SAM Pro modules and workflows. Stay updated on software licensing trends and ServiceNow SAM Pro capabilities. Required Skills & Qualifications Hands‐on experience with ServiceNow SAM Pro/Flexera/Snow License Manager and IT Asset Management (ITAM). Strong understanding of software licensing models (e.g., SaaS, subscription, perpetual). Familiarity with software publishers like Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM, etc. Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and reporting tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SAM is preferred.
