Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Licensed Massage Therapist role located in Port Richey, FL. The Licensed Massage Therapist will provide a range of massage services tailored to client needs, including therapeutic and relaxation-focused sessions. Daily responsibilities include conducting client consultations, recommending appropriate massage techniques, maintaining accurate treatment notes, and ensuring a clean, organized treatment space. The role involves managing appointment schedules, supporting a positive spa experience from check-in to check-out, and collaborating with other spa professionals to promote wellness services. The therapist is expected to follow all safety, hygiene, and professional standards and contribute to a respectful, inclusive workplace.
Qualifications: Strong customer service skills, including attentive listening, clear communication, and a client-centered approach. Proficiency in therapeutic massage techniques and body massage, with the ability to tailor sessions to individual needs. Experience or training in Shiatsu or similar modalities that support holistic wellness. Skills in stress management support, helping clients relax and reduce tension through appropriate techniques and guidance. Current state license as a Massage Therapist in Florida and compliance with all applicable regulations. Commitment to professional ethics, confidentiality, and maintaining a safe, inclusive environment for all clients. Ability to stand for extended periods, perform physical massage work safely, and manage a full-time schedule. Experience in a spa or wellness setting is beneficial; familiarity with booking systems and basic record-keeping is a plus.
