Role Description: The Customer Care Professional is a part time, on-site role based at Salty Tails Sun Spa & Boutique in Pismo Beach, CA. This role focuses on greeting guests, answering questions about spa services and boutique products, and ensuring each visitor feels welcomed and supported throughout their visit. Daily responsibilities include managing appointments and check-in/check-out processes, handling phone and in-person inquiries, processing sales transactions, and assisting with product recommendations. The Customer Care Professional also helps maintain a clean, organized front-of-house environment, supports resolution of guest concerns, and collaborates with spa and boutique team members to provide a seamless, high-quality customer experience.
Qualifications: Strong customer satisfaction and customer service skills, with a focus on creating positive guest experiences. Experience in customer support, including handling inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing clear information about services and products. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to interact comfortably with a wide range of guests. Analytical skills to understand guest needs, identify issues, and support improvements in customer care processes. Ability to work on-site in Pismo Beach, CA, including evenings and weekends. Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications. Previous experience in spa, retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing environment is beneficial. Reliable, punctual, and able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting.
