2nd Shift Clamp Truck Operator Georgia-Pacific is looking for safety-oriented individuals to join our team as 2nd shift Clamp Truck Operator in our Batavia, NY facility. At our corrugated sheet feeder plant we manufacture and supply high-quality corrugated sheets used to produce packaging and shipping containers for a wide range of industries.
Salary: $27.00-$29.75 per hour based on skill & experience. 2nd Shift Differential: One dollar per hour.
Shift: Currently hiring for 2nd shift only; 3:00pm-11:00pm. The first (2-4) weeks of orientation will be on 1st shift (7am - 3pm), then you will be assigned to 2nd shift after your orientation. Only candidates who are flexible and available to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed will be considered.

What You Will Do: Safely operate a sit-down clamp truck to load and unload trailers Unloading railcars in a fast-paced environment where multitasking is needed Support roll stock inventory management activities, including rotation, tracking, and cycle counts. Ensure accurate record keeping for all inbound and outbound shipments Work collaboratively with other team members Ensure a safe work environment throughout the facility by removing debris from areas within the warehouse Perform work that requires lifting up to 35 lbs. Promote safe work practices and maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, stooping, standing, and sitting for 8, and occasionally up to 12 hours per day Maintain quality of product in warehouse areas and warehouse inventory Supply paper rolls to the corrugator according to the production schedule, ensuring material availability for planned runs. Maintain inventory accuracy through roll scanning at each station and return usable butt rolls to inventory. Perform mobile equipment inspection and blowdown each day.
Who You Are: (Basic Qualifications): Experience using a clamp truck to load and unload trailers. Experience in manufacturing, military, landscaping, carpentry, construction, warehouse, production, or farming environment. What Will Put You Ahead: Experience working in the corrugated industry
