This Job Req is in support of a 4x10 shift Fri, Sat, Sun, MonRequired Unique skills: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent combination of education and work experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of aircraft structures design. Basic understanding of aircraft structures design principles and aircraft structural repair. The ability to use or learn computer aided design tools such as CCD, CATIA V4 & V5, AutoCAD, or similar in the design of aircraft structures. Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative skills and the ability to effectively communicate the organization's position with external and internal customers. The ability to effectively work with and support a multi-disciplined team of engineers, technicians, managers, customers, etc. Flexibility to move quickly from one assignment to the next and the ability to handle multiple issues simultaneously. Preferred Unique skills: Gulfstream engineering experience, e.g. GIV, G450, GV, G550, G650, G500, G600 G700, G800.Experience with Aircraft and Component Maintenance Manuals and Structural Repair Manuals. Experience designing aircraft structural repair drawings with basic static stress analysis in support of the drawing. Fundamental knowledge of composite and metal bonded structural design. Practical hands on aircraft repair experience and problem solving.
