About the role
To support security operations and compliance initiatives, the full-time remote Governance Risk Compliance Analyst will manage risk assessments, audit readiness, and process maturity while ensuring adherence to relevant frameworks such as HIPAA and SOC2 Type II.
Key responsibilities
Conduct risk and impact analyses, gathering evidence to inform business recommendations
Support compliance with various frameworks by documenting safeguards and conducting vendor due diligence
Execute long-term projects, maintaining accurate documentation and improving security and compliance workflows
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field, with relevant coursework or experience
Experience in security operations, IT support, audit/risk/compliance roles, or project management
Familiarity with healthcare or regulated environments, including security monitoring and risk assessments
Understanding of control-based frameworks, including SOC2 Type II and HITRUST
Progress toward relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or IAPP certifications is preferred
