About the role
- Sell directly into pharmaceutical research and development, discovery biology, and platform organizations.
- Convert early access and pilot studies into purchase orders.
- Translate scientific proof — organoid data, mechanism of action studies, benchmark results — into enterprise value propositions.
- Scope and price paid pilots at 96 samples and above, defend that pricing with data, and set the standard for what a successful pilot looks like — including where we are not a fit.
- Establish deal structure and expansion pathways across plates, programs, and platform adoption.
- Define the target customer map: who buys, what problem we solve for each group, and where the scientific champion sits relative to the economic buyer.
- Route field learning back into the product roadmap. What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with large pharmaceutical organizations — including deals you originated and signed yourself.
- Scientific credibility. Fluency in single-cell biology and screening workflows, with working command of organoid or induced pluripotent stem cell systems. You hold your own as a peer to senior pharmaceutical scientists and platform heads. Doctorate in a life science field preferred
- Account navigation. Experience moving between scientific champions, platform leaders, and procurement inside the same account, and converting evaluations into commercial contracts.
- Value-based pricing you set, not inherited. A record of pricing against outcomes and defending it under scrutiny.
- Founder-level ownership. Comfort operating without a team, territory, or enablement function, and judgment about where to spend scarce resources.
- Pharmaceutical pilots converted into revenue-bearing contracts.
- A repeatable enterprise sales narrative grounded in real scientific data.
- A credible foundation for scaling the sales function when product maturity and funding support it.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
