About the role
We are looking for an experienced Workato Integration Consultant to support a major integration and modernization initiative involving the migration from Colleague HR to Workday Student. The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supporting integrations between Workday Student and various enterprise applications using Workato. The role will also involve working with Snowflake, APIs, data transformation, and integration workflows to ensure reliable movement and synchronization of student and related enterprise data.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Workato.
Support the migration/integration initiative from Colleague HR to Workday Student.
Develop integration workflows between Workday Student and third-party/enterprise applications.
Work with REST/SOAP APIs, web services, authentication mechanisms, and data transformation.
Build and maintain Workato recipes, connectors, workflows, and error-handling processes.
Work with Snowflake for data integration, querying, transformation, and validation.
Analyze existing integrations and determine how they should be redesigned or migrated to the new Workday Student environment.
Perform data mapping between legacy systems, Workday Student, and downstream applications.
Troubleshoot integration failures, data issues, and performance problems.
Collaborate with Workday, application, data, and business teams to gather integration requirements.
Develop technical documentation, data mappings, integration specifications, and support documentation.
Participate in integration testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and production support.
Ensure integrations meet security, reliability, data-quality, and business requirements.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience with Workato integration platform.
Experience developing and supporting Workato recipes and integrations.
Experience with Workday, preferably Workday Student.
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services.
Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation, and integration patterns.
Experience working with Snowflake and SQL.Experience integrating SaaS and enterprise applications.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with technical and functional stakeholders.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
Experience with Workday Student implementations or migrations.
Experience with Colleague/Colleague HR or higher-education systems.
Experience supporting legacy-system-to-Workday migrations.
Experience with higher-education/student information systems.
Knowledge of Workday integration technologies such as Workday APIs, Web Services, EIBs, or related integration frameworks.
Experience with cloud data platforms and enterprise data architectures.
