About the role
HR Manager This role is integral to shaping the company's culture, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and implementing HR programs that support business goals. The HR Manager will work closely with leadership to drive organizational success through effective talent management, employee engagement, and HR best practices. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Strategy Provide recommendations for HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing guidance on workforce planning, performance management, and employee Management Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention efforts to build a high-performing team. Develop and execute training and development programs to enhance employee skills and growth. Employee Relations and Engagement Act as the point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring a positive and productive work environment. Compliance and Policy Administration Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures to reflect best practices and legal requirements. Manage sensitive employee information and maintain confidentiality at all times. HR Operations Oversee benefits administration and HRIS systems to ensure seamless HR metrics and prepare reports to measure the effectiveness of HR and support organizational change efforts, including restructuring and process improvements. Qualifications Skills:Ability to serve as a consultant on HR operational verbal and written communication skills for business correspondence, policies, and procedures. Excellent organization skills and attention to detail. Superior time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and adjust to quickly changing circumstances. Thorough knowledge of employment and union related laws and with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point, Etc.).Proficiency with HRIS and talent management software and systems. Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required and 5 years' experience as an HR manager OR 10 years' experience in a multi-discipline HR management role. Strong understanding of employment laws, HR best practices, and compliance requirements Valid Driver's License. High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be legally authorized to work in the United be able to read, speak, and understand English.
