Receptionist — M&A Law Firm, P.C. (Chicago) Chicago, Illinois (near Daley Center) | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 11:30am–8:00pm | $35,000-$45,000 per year, based on experience. M&A Law Firm, P.C. is looking for a personable, dependable "Director of First Impressions" for our Chicago office. This role is the first person prospective clients meet, the first voice prospective clients hear, and directly shapes their experience of our firm from the first impression.
What you'll do:
  • Answer incoming calls and screen them to determine whether the caller has a matter our firm can assist with
  • Route calls appropriately and take detailed, accurate messages
  • Keep the front office organized and welcoming
  • Receive office supply deliveries, stock supplies, and track what needs to be reordered
  • As you grow into the role, you'll take on conducting client consultations and sending retainer agreements to clients we can help
  • A few things to know
This role will often involve working in the office alone after 5:00pm. Candidates should be comfortable in that environment. This is an onsite role based in our Chicago office near the Daley Center. Training for this position will be onsite at our Schaumburg location from 8:30am-5:00pm the first week of employment. The candidate will need reliable transportation to our Schaumburg office for one week of paid, onsite training.
What we're looking for:
  • High school diploma required; some college preferred
  • Prior receptionist, customer service, or client-facing experience
  • Clear, professional phone manner and strong written communication
  • Comfortable managing office logistics and staying organized independently
  • Legal industry familiarity is a plus, not required
Compensation and benefits:
  • $35,000-$45,000 per year, based on experience
