Arcana is a portfolio intelligence platform used by leading hedge funds and asset managers to analyze performance, risk, and portfolio construction. Today, Arcana powers 300+ institutions managing over $20T in assets. We’re hiring a Sales Director to drive new business growth with leading hedge funds and asset managers. Arcana already has significant institutional traction, and this role will build on that foundation. This is a senior individual contributor role with full ownership of a multi-million-dollar annual quota. We’re looking for a top-tier enterprise seller who thrives in complex, high-stakes institutional sales cycles.
Responsibilities: Own new business development with hedge funds and asset managers Own and deliver against a multi-million-dollar annual sales quota Drive full-cycle enterprise sales from sourcing through close Close complex, high-ACV deals with sophisticated institutional investors Build trusted relationships with CIOs, COOs, Heads of Risk, PMs, and senior investment leaders Develop and expand relationships across the institutional investment ecosystem Represent Arcana at industry conferences and senior-level meetings Partner closely with Product and Leadership to translate market feedback into strategy Requirements 8–15+ years of enterprise sales experience, ideally within institutional investment technology Consistent top performer with a track record of closing high-value enterprise deals and exceeding multi-million-dollar quotas Deep familiarity with portfolio analytics, attribution, risk, and institutional investment workflows Strong network within the hedge fund and asset management community Exceptional executive presence and communication skills Highly autonomous and entrepreneurial, with the ability to own the sales process end-to-end
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA, or similar is a plus Experience selling portfolio analytics, risk systems, OMS/PMS, or market data strongly preferred
