About the role

Driving new revenue for Lakebase, the full-time Lakebase Sales Specialist will identify and qualify opportunities, engage with technical and business stakeholders, and lead complex sales cycles to promote Databricks' fully-managed Postgres offering for intelligent applications. Key responsibilities Identify and drive Lakebase activations and consumption within a defined territory in partnership with regional Account Executives Articulate the value of Lakebase to key personas, helping to simplify operational data architectures and improve governance Run complex sales cycles from discovery to close, engaging multiple stakeholders and orchestrating proof-of-value initiatives Required qualifications 7+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a track record of exceeding quotas in complex deals Proven success selling operational databases or data platforms to technical and business leaders Strong understanding of modern data architectures and how operational data supports AI and analytics Demonstrated experience leading specialist or overlay sales motions with core Account Executives Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
