About the role
- You are super organized. Loose ends bother you and you have your own system for keeping track of everything.
- You learn fast. You can hear something new once and put it to work the same day.
- You are creative. You bring ideas without being asked and you like finding new ways to do things.
- You are passionate about the music and entertainment business. You follow the deals, the companies and the people.
- You are comfortable working with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude. You check their answers instead of trusting them blindly.
- You are ready to help on both sides of the company. Most of your time will be on music, but you will also support CWE Studios on TV and film projects.
- You know the basics. You know what a publishing deal and a distribution deal are and who attorneys, managers and business managers are.
- You do not need A&R experience. You will not be judging talent. You will be finding facts and keeping things moving.
- You are a strong researcher. You know how to find information that is not on the first page of Google.
- You know your way around streaming numbers and social media. Tools like Chartmetric, Spotify, TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn are part of how you work.
- You write outreach emails that people actually answer.
- You follow up without being reminded.
- You are comfortable with Google Sheets, Gmail and Google Calendar.
- You are discreet. You will see private deal information and you will keep it private.
- You live in the Atlanta area. This role is Atlanta only. You will meet with the founder and the team in person.
- You are available during Eastern Time business hours.
- How it works
- This is a part-time contract role at about 20 hours per week.
- This role is for Atlanta-area candidates only. We cannot consider applicants who live outside Atlanta.
- Pay is $2,500 per month.
- This is a contract role. You will be paid as an independent contractor and handle your own taxes. The role does not include benefits.
- The first 90 days are a trial period. If it is working well, the rate will be reviewed for an increase at the end of the trial.
- You will sign a confidentiality agreement before you start.
- Finalists complete a short skills test before we make a decision.
- Send your resume and a short note to contact@catalogwealth.com. In your note, answer these 3 questions:
- Send us 1 unsigned artist, songwriter or producer you think CWE should sign. Show us the numbers that prove the song is growing and the proof that they are not signed. Then tell us what kind of deal you would offer them and why.
- Tell us about a mistake you caught that would have cost someone money or a deal. How did you spot it? What did you change so it would not happen again?
- Describe the system you use right now to keep track of your work. What tool is it in? What happens when something falls through the cracks?
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
