Assembly Associate
Location: Southgate, MI Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Schedule: Monday – Friday
Position Overview: Cardinal Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Associate for our client in Southgate, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience using hand tools, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to learn and retain instructions for assembling various automotive parts.
Job Responsibilities: Assemble various automotive parts and components according to hand tools and basic assembly equipment to complete daily tasks. Follow detailed work instructions and learn multiple assembly processes. Accurately retain and apply training when assembling different parts. Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy. Identify and report defective parts or assembly issues. Maintain an organized and safe work environment. Work efficiently to meet daily production be proficient with hand tools. Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to learn, retain, and follow multiple assembly procedures. Comfortable switching between different automotive parts and assembly tasks. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Frequent use of hands and repetitive movements. Ability to bend, reach, and handle various automotive components. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
