About the role
Position Summary
This position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by operating and maintaining extrusion machinery used in the manufacturing process, in addition to, ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Schedule: 3:00 pm - 3:00 am Monday - Thursday
Starting at $20 per hour. Based on experience.
Essential Duties and Tasks

Safley sets up, operates, and monitors extrusion machinery and equipment as intended and needed to meet customer and production goals.
Completes extrusion machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment to ensure proper operation.
Monitors the production process, inspects and tests materials and equipment using safe and proper protocols, to ensure products meet quality standards and production quotas are met.
Verifies and tracks all materials for inventory and work in progress regulations.
Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machinery operating efficiently.
Trains and provides guidance to machine assistants and new crew members.
Keeps machinery and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging, and cleanliness requirements.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, to prevent accidents or injuries. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment(PPE) as required by safety policies and reports any safety hazards or concerns to the appropriate team member.
Completes all necessary documentation for internal or external use.
Effectively works with other departments or team members, such as machine technicians, supervisors, and quality control inspectors, to coordinate production activities and address any potential issues as they arise.

Qualifications, Education and Experience
HS/GED required; HS/GED preferred
2-4 years' experience in a related field experience in a related field required.
This position has no leadership duties.
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
