The Role: We are seeking an experienced Transmission Line Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on major transmission projects, taking ownership of designs from concept through to completion while supporting the delivery of reliable, high-quality infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: Design overhead transmission lines for systems up to 345 kV.Prepare engineering designs, calculations, proposals, cost estimates, and scopes of work. Produce, review, and approve engineering drawings and technical documentation. Utilize industry-standard software, including PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, and PLS-TOWER.Lead projects through all phases of design and delivery while ensuring QA/QC standards are met. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance throughout project execution.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering.5–10 years of experience in overhead transmission line design. Strong proficiency with PLS-CADD and PLS-POLE (PLS-TOWER experience is advantageous).Solid understanding of utility systems, overhead transmission line design, and engineering best practices. Demonstrated leadership and project coordination skills. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
