Company Description: Private Fleet Backhaul (PFBH) is a third-party logistics (3PL) company that moves our shipper’s high volume freight lanes via the backhaul capacity of private/dedicated fleets repositioning home. We do not engage one-way carriers, use load boards or move transactional/spot market loads. Our average lane moves 8+/wk. with 90% drop at origin and 70% drop on both ends and most often have one carrier on lane routing guide who move 100% of lane volume. We do not move multi-stop, driver assist, refrigerated or Haz-mat loads.    Role Description Our ‘Dispatcher role’ is better described as Lane Manager, with 100% of your communication being with our private/dedicated fleets dispatchers/operations managers and they will deploy their drivers. This full-time position is based in Anderson, IN with the initial 4-6 wks. being 100% in office and transitioning to hybrid role with two days/wk. in office and three days/wk. remote. All Lane Managers work 1st shift approx. nine hours/day. PFBH Lane Managers own the management of the interface between our carriers trucks and our shippers reoccurring truckload shipments which includes, but is not limited to: accepting tendered loads based on lane specific criterion, forwarding load confirmations to routing guide capacity providers, all system scheduling activities, to include changes, on both ends, monitoring shipment status and proactively communicating any disruptions, delays, or issues to appropriate stakeholders, ownership of problem resolution/recovery, scheduling lumpers, approving/processing accessorial charges and overall responsibility for all activities related to loads moving on lanes you have ownership of.  Qualifications 2+ years in dispatcher role with responsibility for coordinating freight movements, assigning loads to drivers and communication with shippers/brokers/carriers  Strong communicator who is comfortable maintaining ongoing/daily contact with carrier dispatchers and shippers regarding pickup, delivery, scheduling, system updates and problem resolution Administratively proficient with TMS platforms, scheduling systems, and basic office software (spreadsheets, email, communication tools) Strong multitasking skills; strong follow-up discipline Ability to work on-site in Anderson, IN
