Part-time position (Friday and Saturday only)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced part-time Security Officer to work on Fridays and Saturdays from 9pm to 2am. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for upscale events and lounges located in Downtown Dallas, TX. You will be working with high‐end clients, so it is essential that you maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Control access to event venues and lounges by checking IDs, tickets, and guest lists
- Monitor the premises to ensure safety and security of all guests, staff, and property
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations such as fights, medical emergencies, and fire alarms
- Report any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security breaches to the appropriate authorities
- Provide excellent customer service to guests by addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Maintain a professional appearance by wearing a black suit at all times
- Follow all security protocols and procedures established by the company
- Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a cohesive and effective team
Requirements:
- Must be able to work on Fridays and Saturdays from 9pm to 2amMust have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
- Must be able to handle high‐pressure situations calmly and efficiently
- Must be physically fit and able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
- Must have a reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be able to wear a black suit during work hours
