About the role: We are seeking an experienced Procurement & Sourcing Specialist to support purchasing, material planning, inventory management, and strategic sourcing activities within a manufacturing environment. This role will work closely with production and supply chain teams to ensure timely material availability.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage purchasing of MRO, inventory materials, hardware, and consumables.• Create and manage purchase orders using SAP/MRP systems and support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) activities.• Plan, schedule, track, and expedite materials based on production requirements.• Source suppliers, obtain quotations, and maintain strong supplier relationships.• Support inventory planning, minimum stock levels, BOMs, and production schedules.• Drive strategic sourcing initiatives focused on cost, quality, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience.• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, material planning, inventory, or production control.• Strong Procure-to-Pay (P2P) experience.• Experience with SAP, particularly MM, PP, and/or FI/CO.• Strong procurement and sourcing experience.• Experience with MRP/inventory systems and supplier management.• Pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing industry experience preferred.• APICS or purchasing-related certification preferred.
Compensation: • $35.00/hour on w 2
