Location: 251 Elizabeth Street, New York City, with flexibility to travel within Manhattan Dates: December 10–22, 2026 (paid training the week of November 16)
Role Type: Seasonal and part-time
Compensation: $25-$30/hour Printed String is a new studio reimagining gift presentation as a contemporary ritual. We're debuting our first collection (including silkscreened papers, printed ribbon, nesting boxes, and vintage charms) at our bespoke wrapping atelier opening this December in NYC.Seasonal Gift-Wrapping Artisans are responsible for wrapping each gift beautifully, delivering exceptional client service, and upholding our visual and craft standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Professionally hand-wrap gifts to order using our signature papers, boxes, ribbons, charms and embellishments Guide clients through combining elements to create a personalized, beautiful gift Uphold high presentation and craft standards on every piece Restock materials and keep the atelier station considered and organized Maintain open, professional communication with the team and store lead Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Experience working with clients one-on-one in retail or a service setting Background in paper crafts, textile art, fashion, floral design, styling, fine art, or similar hands-on fields Meticulous hand skills, including precise folding, tying, and cutting Strong, confident sense of color and composition Proactive, self-motivated, with an interest in continued learning To apply: Please submit a cover letter and creative portfolio to victoria [at] printedstring [dot] com by October 21, 2026. We value a range of creative backgrounds and non-traditional paths into craft.
