Human Resources Business PartnerSalary exempt position Westdale Real Estate Investment and Management (Westdale) is a nationally recognized real estate investment and management firm headquartered in Dallas, Texas. With approximately 1,000 employees across the United States, Westdale specializes in the acquisition, development, and management of multifamily, office, retail, and mixed-use properties. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join our corporate team at our Dallas headquarters, located near downtown at The Epic. In this highly visible role, you will support a portfolio of properties and serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, driving HR initiatives that strengthen engagement, performance, and organizational culture. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on HR professional who thrives in a dynamic, multi-site environment and is passionate about building strong relationships and fostering a workplace where employees can succeed.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources or closely related field with a minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience in a 300+ employee environmentAt least 3 years of direct experience managing employee relations matters, including investigations, unemployment claims, and legal/compliance issuesExperience supporting multi-state, multi-site operations with strong knowledge of federal and state employment lawsSHRM-CP or PHR certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire)Strong business acumen with the ability to align HR strategies to organizational goalsDemonstrated ability to build trust and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of the organizationProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detailProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentStrong conflict resolution and decision-making skillsAdditional RequirementsFull-time, in-office role (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM) at our Dallas corporate officeAbility to travel occasionally to property locations (by car or air)Valid Texas driver's license and required auto insuranceKey ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary HR partner for a portfolio of properties supporting approximately 400 employeesProvide proactive, solutions-oriented HR guidance to managers and employees at all levelsPromote a positive and inclusive workplace culture while strengthening employee relationsInterpret and communicate company policies, procedures, and employment practicesPartner with leadership to develop and maintain accurate job descriptions and performance expectationsSupport managers in employee counseling, performance management, disciplinary actions, and terminationsMediate employee relations matters and facilitate effective conflict resolutionConduct thorough and timely investigations into employee concerns and complaintsManage unemployment claims and represent the company in hearingsHandle EEOC claims and assist with employment-related litigation mattersTrain and coach managers on HR best practices and compliance requirementsMonitor and respond to employee feedback on social platforms as appropriateContribute to HR projects and initiatives that support business objectivesWhy Join Westdale?At Westdale, we believe our people are our greatest asset.
