Job Number: AMZ000203Position Responsibilities: Act as trusted advisor and thought leader in the development of commercial strategy and deals: partner in the execution of the deal sales cycle for strategic commercial opportunities. Participate in critical phases of the Deal Cycle including Strategy, Structuring, Negotiations, and Closure. Partner closely with AWS Service teams to understand services and pricing: create frameworks that impact customer outcomes. Inspire and influence key internal stakeholders, experts, and other indirect resources to remove barriers and achieve desired business outcomes. Work with C-level executives, IT, and various lines of business to meet their business outcomes and increase adoption of AWS services. Advise and construct commercial deal terms: understand the competitive landscape and provide deal guidance. Facilitate alignment and effective AWS communication with internal and external stakeholders to resolve conflict and encourage develop productive interactions. Cultivate best practices through analysis and reporting in support of continuous improvements. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week. Domestic travel up to 15% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
Basic Qualifications
Position Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation as equivalent to a Master's degree and one (1) year of experience. Must have one (1) year of experience with the following skills: working with customers on the structuring of substantial, strategic, and complex software or cloud services/infrastructure deals from opportunity through closure; working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, and legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals; financial modeling with proficiency in Microsoft Excel including complex formulas, pivot tables, macros, and data analysis tools; building and maintaining pricing financial models, including multi-year revenue projections, discount structures, and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses; financial concepts including NPV, IRR, cash flow analysis, and revenue recognition; creating scenario analyses and sensitivity models; and translating technical requirements into financial terms and presenting financial impact to C-level executives.40 hours / week, 8:00am - 5:00pm, Salary Range $173,555 - $193,200 / year
