About the role
- Translate client business objectives into actionable digital product roadmaps aligned to manufacturing KPIs (OEE, throughput, quality, asset utilization, etc.).
- Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment to agreed scope and value targets.
- Decompose roadmap initiatives into epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Support development of phased delivery plans that balance speed-to-value with technical sustainability.
- Track delivery progress against roadmap milestones and proactively manage scope adjustments.

- Serve as the day-to-day liaison between client stakeholders and internal architecture and engineering teams.
- Facilitate requirements workshops and working sessions with plant, quality, operations, and IT stakeholders.

- Clarify assumptions, constraints, and dependencies across workstreams.

- Support account leadership in identifying expansion opportunities within active engagements.

- Background in Manufacturing OT, Manufacturing IT, or Manufacturing Data Engineering.

- Demonstrate understanding of core manufacturing processes including production execution, quality, maintenance, and material traceability.
- Understand integration across MES, ERP, IoT platforms, and data ecosystems.

- Identify and evaluate AI-enabled opportunities across manufacturing processes, including decision support, knowledge retrieval, workflow automation, and intelligent user experiences.
- Translate AI use cases into clear business outcomes, functional requirements, roadmap priorities, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable value hypotheses.
- Partner with data, architecture, engineering, security, and client stakeholders to shape solutions using generative AI, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, machine learning, or related capabilities where appropriate.
- Stay current on evolving AI and agentic technology patterns and communicate their business relevance, limitations, dependencies, and risks to technical and operational stakeholders.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, digital manufacturing, or management/technology consulting.
- Experience operating as a Product Owner or functional lead within digital initiatives.
- Experience working within Agile delivery models.
- Strong communication and structured problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with both technical and operational stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree
- Background in Manufacturing OT, Manufacturing IT, or Manufacturing Data Engineering.
- Prior consulting experience (technology or management consulting).Familiarity with industrial standards and enterprise architecture principles.
- Experience supporting MES, IoT, or cloud-based manufacturing data initiatives.
- Exposure to enterprise-scale, multi-site manufacturing programs.
