Overview
In this role, you will lead international marketing strategies to grow NBA fans globally, partnering with regional teams to align local priorities with league objectives. You will drive integrated campaigns across markets, leveraging insights and performance data to optimize investments and impact. You’ll collaborate across Global Fan Marketing, Content, Media, Digital, Partnerships, Events and Analytics to deliver fan experiences at scale. This is a strategic, cross-functional leadership role shaping the NBA’s global fan agenda with a focus on growth, engagement, and brand affinity.

Responsibilities Develop and lead international marketing strategies to drive fan growth and brand affinity across key global markets Partner with regional marketing teams to reflect local insights in global planning and campaign development Lead development of integrated marketing campaigns ensuring alignment of global objectives with local activation Collaborate with regional teams to adapt global programs for local audiences while maintaining brand consistency Use consumer research, audience insights, and performance data to inform strategies and identify growth opportunities Coordinate with Global Fan Marketing, Content, Media, Digital, Partnerships, Events and Analytics to plan fan experiences Establish campaign objectives, KPIs, and measurement frameworks with regular performance reporting and recommendations Support annual planning including strategic planning, budgeting, and resource allocation across international markets Build relationships with regional stakeholders and understand market dynamics and cultural trends Share best practices across markets to improve effectiveness and drive innovation and efficiency Contribute to marketing processes, workflows, and communication frameworks for better collaboration
Key requirements 8+ years in marketing, brand strategy, international marketing, or related fields Experience across multiple international markets and global audience programs Strong understanding of international marketing, consumer behavior, and market dynamics Ability to translate insights into actionable strategies and recommendations Strong project management and organizational skills with multiple priorities Experience influencing and collaborating across cross-functional teams Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills Strong analytical mindset with metrics-driven decision making Ability to build relationships across global organizations Willingness to travel internationally as neededstrong communication and storytellingcollaboration and cross-functional influenceanalytical mindset and data-driven decision makingintegrated marketing campaign development across multiple marketsutilizing consumer insights and market intelligenceperformance analytics and measurement frameworks
