Role Description: The Senior Trade Sales Advisor – NY/Mid-Atlantic is a full-time, remote role, with the ideal candidate based in New York, Philadelphia or the DC-Area to support trade and contract clients in these key markets. This position focuses on building and maintaining relationships with interior designers, trade partners, and key accounts, guiding them through product selection, custom solutions, and project coordination. The Senior Trade Sales Advisor will play a key role in new business generation; working across existing clients and net new relationships to build awareness of capabilities and new collections. The role will prepare and present quotes and project-based estimates, manage sample requests, and provide timely, accurate information on product specifications, lead times, and pricing. The role includes tracking sales performance, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating closely with design, production, and operations teams to ensure successful project delivery. Daily tasks also involve maintaining CRM records, responding to inquiries, and representing the brand’s values of quality, craftsmanship, and service excellence.
Qualifications: A proven track record in premium design-focused B2B sales, trade or contract furniture/rugs, or interior design industry is required. Strong Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making. Excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and confident client-facing interaction. Proficiency with CRM tools and standard office software for tracking leads, opportunities, and client communications. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, or a related field, NCIDQ certification or equivalent professional experience is preferred. Travel This is a remote position with travel to client meetings and events expected 10-20% of the time.
