Compensation: 24h Call $1800, call back $250/hr, night call $500, night call back $250/hr. Regular hourly rate $260/hrPosition Details

Some assignments include night call and 24-hour coverage responsibilities Coverage DatesWeek of August 24, 2025 Week of August 31, 2025 November 2428, 2025 December 29, 2025 January 2, 2026 Clinical Responsibilities Sign-out of pathology cases Grossing surgical specimens Peripheral blood smear review and interpretation Blood bank issue management and transfusion reaction review Cellular adequacy checks for FNA and CT-guided biopsies Clinician communication and pathology consultation support Night call coverage for urgent pathology cases Support StaffTwo histotechs assisting with: Small biopsy grossing Slide preparation Special stains Practice EnvironmentEMR: EpicFull privileges available Telephone call coverage RequirementsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Pathology Active Illinois license required at time of submission Minimum 1 year of experience required Strong experience in: Grossing CytologyGeneral pathology case review Ability to work independently and efficiently manage caseloads Excellent communication skills
