About the role

The CCR Product Development team within EDO is responsible for developing the Counterparty Credit Risk technology infrastructure by building tools to a) provide in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve business problems and develop new, innovative solutions b) build tools to help measure, monitor and control counterparty risk for institutional clients and c) portfolios and businesses, with a focus on counter-party and collateral risk to ensure the risks are being properly measured and controlled in accordance with the Firm’s risk policies.
Responsibilities: Lead the deployment of Artificial Intelligence in Counterparty Credit Risk Measurements space and Crisis management for enhancing the accuracy and timeliness of data used for Risk Management for risk decisions in BAU and crisis situations Lead the automation of manual processes across internal risk measures and external (CCAR, EBA, iCAAP etc) stress testing Respond to urgent business requests on exposure analysis and deep dives which cannot be produced from the system directly Define business requirements to help automate GSST and regulatory (CCAR, EBA, iCAAP, LE etc) stress testing data, pricing, aggregation, calculation and wrong way risk implementations Create project plans, business and technical requirements documents for technology execution Develop plans to test enhancements, major implementations and perform post-production check-outs Develop and enhance tools for the measurement, monitoring and management of counterparty exposure including Stress Testing, PFE, risk capital, wrong way risk and Crisis Reporting Work in close co-ordination with in-business risk managers, second line risk managers and senior stakeholders to understand their priorities and fulfill the delivery objectives Work with technology to understand the CCR infrastructure, systems and data flows. Identify and document gaps and suggest improvements Communicate key findings to senior management and provide regular status updates Develop risk management tools for the measurement, monitoring and management of exposure and participate in project management of strategic risk infrastructure development Create presentations and documents for internal and external use on various topics including, stress methodologies, and summarizing stress testing issues
Qualifications: 10+ years of relevant experience 8+ years’ experience and subject matter expertise in counterparty credit risk, risk management concepts, data, systems and processes (Experience in AI will be a plus) 6+ years’ experience and understanding of stress testing, credit and market data, pricing, calculations and reporting 6+ years’ experience in defining solutions and business requirements Strong Excel skills ideally incorporating VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) Experience handling large volumes of data, database programming skills, Python, R or other statistical languages is a plus Large scale project management skills spanning risk and technology EducationBachelor’s/University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Informational Systems or equivalent work experience Job Family GroupProduct Management and Development Job FamilyProduct Development Time TypeFull time Primary LocationGetzville New York United States Primary Location Full Time Salary Range$115,840.00 - $173,760.00 In addition to salary, Citi’s offerings may also include, for eligible employees, discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
