Description: Join Southern Shade Tree Co, a leading full-service landscaping and tree service provider with over 50 years of experience in exceeding clients' expectations in the Carolinas. We are currently seeking a Landscape Driver/Crew Leader to join our team. This role involves driving to and from job sites, assisting in landscaping duties, and leading a crew to ensure all tasks are completed to our high standards. Qualifications: 3-5 years of proven driving experience with a valid State Driver's license issued 2020 or prior. Must be 18 years of age or older. Legally eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship. Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Previous landscaping/construction experience. Ability to operate a truck with a trailer.
Responsibilities: Drive to and from job sites, adhering to all driving and traffic laws. Assist in all hardscape duties including patios, landscaped walkways, sitting walls, retaining walls, water features, fire pits, landscape lighting, grill surrounds, pergolas, and more. Operate power tools and equipment such as excavation equipment ranging from picks, shovels, and spades to Skid steers and mini-excavators Follow all procedures and guidelines related to safety and equipment operation. Perform equipment maintenance tasks as required. Interact with the public in a friendly, polite, and service-oriented manner when appropriate. CompensationCompetitive Pay!
