Job Description: Job Description NOW HIRING - JOIN THE JENSEN DESIGN TEAMCUSTOM METAL FABRICATOR / WELDERJensen Design is a family-owned Wichita business that has been designing and fabricating custom, quality ironwork since 1984. We create one-of-a-kind railings, furniture, lighting, architectural pieces, décor, and custom metalwork for residential and commercial projects. We're looking for a skilled, dependable, and motivated person to join our team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO: Fabricate and weld custom metal and wrought-iron pieces Read and work from drawings, measurements, and specifications Grind, finish, and prepare metal for installation Build unique projects from start to finish Work with a team of experienced craftsmen Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Take pride in producing high-quality workWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORWelding and metal fabrication experience preferred but not required. If you are willing to learn we are willing to teach Ability to read a tape measure and basic drawings Strong attention to detail Dependable work ethic and good attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Someone who takes pride in craftsmanship and wants to build things that last Experience with MIG welding, TIG welding, grinding, forming, or ornamental ironwork is a plus.
