About the role
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to support large-scale capital projects within the utility sector. This role will play a critical part in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with effective risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead project controls functions across scheduling, cost management, and risk analysis Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deliverables Monitor project costs, forecasts, and budgets; identify variances and recommend corrective actions Implement and manage risk identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies Partner with project managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to drive project performance Prepare and present project status reports, KPIs, and executive-level updates Support continuous improvement of project controls processes and tools Qualifications 6+ years of project controls management experience supporting capital projects Background in large infrastructure projects required (oil & gas, LNG, combined cycle/simple cycle, etc.)Strong experience in project scheduling, cost control, and risk management Proficiency with project controls tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field Experience supporting large, complex utility or energy projectsPMP or related certification is a plus
